Secondment visits in May to EC Bridges

During May and June 2022 “Educational and Cultural Bridges” NGO has hosted 7 Professors from University of Bath (4 people) and University of Warsaw (3 people).

The secondments took place within the project Horizon 2020 “Memory of Disputed Territories” (www.disterrmem.eu) that EC Bridges is part of. The project is 5 years EU project, financed by European Commission and will last till January 2024.

During the stay of the Researchers in Armenia EC Bridges has organised several visits for the Professors introducing the work that EC Bridges does. The team jointly had several roundtables, discussions, study visits discussing the progress and joint cooperation with the project. A very interesting visit to Genocide Museum was also organised, during which the researchers had opportunity to know the most severe pages of Armenian history.

Besides the productive work, the team had several cultural visits discovering the beauty of Armenian landscape and architecture from past and present. Several visits to Opera house were organised, including National Dance Ensemble and Philharmonic Orchestra.

The joint research visits within the project will be continued and EC Bridges will delegate 2 people to University of Bath, UK in July and will host 6 Researchers in Armenia from University of Warsaw.
