The training course “Make Yourself Seen, Make Some Theatre”, was organized by the Youth Company (TYC) during  4-11 June 2015 in Wolfskuil, Holland.

Three participants form “Educational and Cultural Bridges” took part in this training course. The training course was EU programme Erasmus +, financed by European Commission.

The training course focuses on the development of the participants knowledge of forum theatre as a method in youth work, and theatre in general as a tool for self-development/ development of peer or target groups, knowledge  of the new EU education programme Erasmus+. Also, the possibility to build strong alliances between youth work organizations throughout Europe.

During this training course young peer educators, youth volunteers, students and youth workers were welcomed to deepen their knowledge about the use of theatre as a mean to discuss social matters. During this training course the participants have been encouraged to explore theatrical methods in order to stimulate young people to become responsible members of society, help them to participate in decision making processes and engage in actions and activities in order to contribute to their society.

The main purpose was to offer new ways to stimulate young people to participate & engage because they have the power to make changes.

Participating countries were totally 11: France, Russian Federation, Armenia, Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine, Ireland, Italy, United Kingdom, Turkey and The Netherlands.

The training took place in a nice atmosphere and built new cultural bridges for cooperation.
